CHANGING OF THE GUARD

We’re famous for our pageantry and the Changing of the Guard is one of the best.

We’ll see  the guards line up for inspection in their iconic red tunics and bear skin hats while the military band plays. Then get your cameras and phones ready for some great photo and videos as they march with the band up to Buckingham Palace.

THE TOWER OF LONDON

One of my favourite haunts (pun completely intended) is  the Tower of London. A Unesco World Heritage site with almost 1,000 years of history to explore, you’ll discover the place where traitors and three queens met their deaths, a medieval king's riverside apartment and the dazzling Crown Jewels.

WESTMINSTER ABBEY

One of the must do’s in London. This is our national church where kings and queens have been crowned, married and buried since 1066. You’ll see where William and Kate were married in 2011,

the ancient Coronation Chair, and the final resting places of Isaac Newton, Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin and many, many others.
